  • Manage tax advisory engagements independently, providing expert guidance to clients
  • Develop and deliver tax opinions, notes, and email responses on day-to-day client matters
  • Oversee tax compliance, including filing tax returns, withholding tax statements, and advance tax filings
  • Represent clients in tax assessment and litigation proceedings, including reviewing and drafting responses to audit notices
  • Train and develop junior team members, creating a stronger bench for the future
  • Deliver tax technology assets through licensing and managed services
  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for end-to-end tax operate engagements
  • Manage internal client codes, time logging, invoicing, and collections
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing relationships
  • Collaborate with other tax services lines and business functions for multi-disciplinary client requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Direct Taxation, with a strong technical knowledge base
  • Analytical skills and conceptual clarity to tackle complex tax issues
  • An eye for detail and innovative thinking to stay ahead of the curve
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and colleagues
