Senior Tax Analyst

The primary role of a Senior Associate is to review and finalize moderate to complex tax returns prepared by junior colleagues.
This position requires an individual with strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Display a high level of understanding of basic and advanced tax concepts on individual tax returns and continuously enhance knowledge through client work and staying up-to-date with tax developments.
- Ensure exceptional quality and timely delivery of tasks assigned to junior colleagues.
- Train and assist junior colleagues with their questions on a daily basis.
- Assist the team in tax research to develop a deep understanding of tax theory and principles and apply them appropriately on individual tax returns to meet client requirements.
- Enhance teamwork and communicate effectively with teams globally.
- Provide assistance to managers on projects as requested.
- Demonstrate independent judgment and decision-making capabilities when preparing tax returns.
- Foster a supportive and collaborative team environment.
A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in US Individual taxation (1040)
Key Skills Required- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and coaching abilities
- Experience working on US individual tax returns with complex situations and High-Net-worth Individuals (HNIs)
- Good knowledge of advanced tax concepts, including forms like 8621, 5471, 1116, 2555, 6252, and Passthrough reporting
- Able to manage a team and the team's workflow
