Global Alliances Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our strategic partnerships team as a Global Alliances Director. This high-profile role demands expertise in fostering collaboration and alignment with senior executives at leading partner organizations.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence through go-to-market strategies.
  • Leading a global team of Business Development Managers, the director will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop joint offerings, and oversee contract negotiations and performance tracking.
  • A key contributor to thought leadership initiatives, such as joint publications and customer events, this individual will shape the direction of our alliances strategy and help drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute the overall alliance strategy on a global level.
  • Expand strategic relationships and enable teams on the partnership.
  • Grow business motions across sell-to, sell-through, and sell-with models.
  • Develop and grow a team of experienced business development managers.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the Linux and cloud software ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Alliance Manager/Director.
  • Solid background in Linux, virtualization, containers, and other cloud technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with executives.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic mindset, focusing on revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Autonomous, disciplined, hands-on approach with measurable goals.
  • Passionate about Canonical products and mission.
