Job Title: ServiceNow IT Specialist

Our organization seeks an accomplished ServiceNow IT specialist to lead the development and implementation of our IT service management (ITSM) system. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to leverage their technical expertise to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform, focusing on all ITSM modules – Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Portal, Flow Designer, CSDM.
  • Capture requirements from stakeholders through workshops and demonstrations, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver user stories, configurations, and software solutions within agreed timelines.
  • Develop custom software solutions as required through scripting and software development.
  • Manage routine tasks and activities (BAU).
  • Conduct value-based assessments and workshops to maximize business results from ServiceNow.

Profile Description:

Applicants should possess a strong academic background in engineering or computer science, preferably from a reputable institution. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ServiceNow ITSM, custom app development, and configuring ITSM modules is essential. Proficiency in front-end technologies and UI design is highly valued.

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in scoped application design, workflow, flow designer, integration hub, and B2B integrations.
  • Deep understanding of REST, WSDL, JSON, and ability to integrate third-party applications and data sources.
  • Proficiency in developing and managing application code, user interfaces, and integration components.
  • Ability to manage data with tables, CMDB, import sets, and update sets.
  • Experience in creating workflow activities, approvals, incident forms, service catalogs, approval flows, service portal pages, widgets, and UI macros.
  • Expertise in configuring UI actions, UI policy, ACL, client scripts, business rules, inbound actions, macros, CSS-based UX/UI design, Angular-based client-side and server-side scripts, JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, and JSON web technologies.
  • Ability to configure performance analytics, reporting, and dashboards.
