Key Responsibilities:
  • Main Accountabilities:
  • Create a network of distributors by identifying opportunities, negotiating agreements and closing deals.
  • E nsure proper documentation and statutory compliance for newly appointed distributors.
  • Set sales targets for primary and secondary markets along with the number of retail stores to be opened every month and achieve these targets for each distributor.
  • Manage sales to distributors and further to retail stores to meet sales targets through personal efforts and resources.
  • Coordinate distributor invoicing and timely dispatch through the company.
  • Coordinate collections and manage outstanding payments from distributors while strictly following FIFO and keeping track of outstanding amounts.
  • Confirm distributor balance on a regular basis.
  • Ensure daily sales reports, weekly inventory & sales reports and monthly sales vs achievement reports with ageing of distributors.
  • Directly responsible for opening and servicing high-priority retail outlets.
  • Ensure optimal product placement and mix for focused products.
  • Monitor, train, groom and motivate the sales team to deliver targeted results by providing support, information and guidance.
  • Monitor distributor's inventory in terms of SKUs and overall stock levels.
  • M erchandise and display company products across the area.
  • Analyze and summarize sales and inventory reports as per provided timelines, also reporting competitor activity to RSM/ HO.
  • Effectively implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives.
  • Identify potential sales resources and conduct preliminary screening.
