Job Description

The Senior Manager role involves leading a team in processing new business and end-to-end policy servicing for group business. This includes coordinating with Sales and Actuarial teams for the closure of individual Group processes, achieving issuance of policies, and resolving customer and intermediary queries.

The role requires an efficient, effective, professional, and courteous service to be provided to intermediaries and customers. The Senior Manager will maintain established procedures in a consistent manner and contribute to improvements whenever possible.

This position also entails implementing and maintaining agreed quality and quantity controls to aid proactive management and problem anticipation. Additionally, the Senior Manager will supervise and train a team to meet business needs as the company grows.

Another key aspect of this role is coordinating with finance for reconciliation of policy account balances and leading transformation and digitization of group business.

Required Skills & Qualifications

The ideal candidate has an MBA or ACII degree with 8-10 years' experience in customer services or operations. An Associate of Insurance Institute certification is an added advantage.

  • Good experience in operations within the financial services industry is required.
  • Experience within the Group Operation department of an Insurance company is essential.
  • Data processing expertise to deliver operational efficiency is necessary.
  • Proficiency in using databases, office management software, word processors, and spreadsheets is expected.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and influencing skills are crucial.
