About the Role

We are seeking a talented Key Business Developer for the Indian Market to join our team. As a Key Business Developer, you will be responsible for building a strong lead pipeline in India and convincing sellers to offer high-quality objects via our platform, with a specific focus on jewellery, gemstones, and diamonds.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Development: Identify, prospect, and develop leads through multiple channels, including calls, emails, field visits, fair visits, and collaborations with experts.
  • Building Seller Relationships: Establish and nurture strong relationships with new sellers to expand the jewellery, gemstones, and diamonds seller network.
  • Lead Qualification and Research: Collaborate with experts to identify, research, and qualify high-potential outbound and inbound leads using data and sales tools.
  • Sales Process Facilitation: Ensure a seamless pre-sales and post-sales experience for sellers, with a particular focus on onboarding and providing exceptional support.
  • Seller Growth and Engagement: Work closely with Account Managers to develop growth plans for onboarded sellers and educate Leads and Dormants on buyer preferences and quality standards.
  • Reactivation and Organic Growth: Identify and reactivate dormant sellers, source high-potential leads, and identify opportunities for organic sign-ups and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Industry Knowledge: Proven experience in sales within the diamond, gemstones, or jewellery industry, specifically within the Indian market.
  • Communication Skills: Fluent in both written and spoken English and Hindi.
  • Sales Mindset: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets with a willingness to travel regularly across India.
