Job Title

Role Overview

As a senior talent development manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and implement strategic people initiatives that drive organizational success. This includes leveraging expertise in competency-based human resources management and talent development to accelerate the growth of our people at all levels, fostering a strong talent pipeline of succession and an inclusive, diverse culture.

You will develop and deliver existing development offers and define new initiatives to address business needs for various target groups, such as talent pool programs, rotation assignments, change workshops, leadership activities, and others. These initiatives must meet expectations for quality, efficiency, and timeliness.

You will partner with global corporate office teams to create an integrated development roadmap that considers business and capability needs in current and future states. Additionally, you will play an active role in global functional communities, such as talent development and diversity, equity, and inclusion, to drive global alignment on relevant topics and support the execution of corresponding global projects.

You will guide regions and branches in local implementation of global/continental management development and related projects, including succession planning, management evaluation and development, development centers, diversity management, and more.

Furthermore, you will advise regional and functional managers, counterparts on local management development and related initiatives to ensure necessary alignment and enhancement to meet business needs.

You will develop templates and maintain up-to-date records/database/library to support planning and execution of various projects in the region for consistency, efficiency, and quality.

Also, you will produce management reports and presentations with proper data consolidation, analysis, and interpretation on a regional level.

You will deliver various HR services for Asia Pacific offices, such as recruitment or placement, employee orientation, and more.

Moreover, you will provide prompt support for ad-hoc projects/requests from global or regional levels.

You will facilitate coaching processes whenever required.

You will organize and execute mentoring programs.

Finally, you will drive organization-wide performance management systems process.

Other responsibilities include managing, planning, and executing annual employee and engagement surveys, including postsurvey action plan design and implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a bachelor's degree in psychology, business management, or human resources. A master's degree in human resource management and industrial psychology or social sciences is preferred.

Candidates with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in functional expertise areas for talent management and organizational development in a multinational company with at least 5 years regional exposure are preferred.

Good exposure to general HR practices through serving as an HR generalist is a plus.

Solid conceptual knowledge and practical skills in competency-based HR management and talent management, including competency models, assessment tools, development centers, mentoring, coaching, event facilitation, and more.

Good understanding of relevant processes/tools/systems for talent management, leadership review, and succession planning.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity to interact effectively with people at all levels and functions from diversified backgrounds.

A strong team player who enjoys working closely with people in a highly matrix organizational setup with different country requirements and organizational maturity.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as good planning and project management skills.

Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks with tight schedules, with high-level ethics and integrity.

Flexible, adaptive, independent, mature, and a fast learner.

Proficiency in MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness and flexibility to travel.
