Job Title: Student Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging and interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Maintain a safe and productive learning environment for all students.
  • Utilize effective pedagogical techniques to enhance student understanding and retention.
Student Administration:
  • Ensure discipline is upheld in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Foster a culture of maximum student participation and provide guidance on improving study habits.
  • Monitor and maintain basic hygiene practices, prioritizing the health and well-being of each student.
Classroom Functioning:
  • Establish an effective learning environment through visually appealing displays, bulletin boards, and interest centers.
  • Nurture positive and professional relationships with parents, providing regular feedback and updates.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Compile, maintain, and ensure confidentiality of school records.
  • Adhere to and implement all relevant school policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quarterly stock checks of teaching aids, as requested by coordinators.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development through internal and external courses, seminars, conferences, and events.
  • Attend meetings convened by the principal and coordinators, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Work Relations:
  • Maintain open lines of communication with the principal for academic-related matters.
  • Interact effectively with co-teachers and other staff members as needed.
  • Liaise with departments to address operational issues.

Required Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree or B. Ed
