Job Title: Educational Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Educational Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs, working closely with teachers and other support staff to ensure a smooth learning experience.

The role of the Educational Support Specialist is multifaceted, requiring excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles. As an inclusive educator, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and supportive environment that encourages participation and engagement from all students.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, tailoring your approach to meet their unique requirements.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement personalized learning plans, ensuring that students receive the best possible support.
  • Assist students with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, or learning difficulties, adapting your teaching methods to cater to their diverse needs.
  • Foster a growth mindset in students, encouraging them to take risks, explore new ideas, and build confidence in their abilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, tracking achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Special Education (Intellectual Disability/HI/Learning Disability/Autism/VI etc.) approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in a relevant field.
  • Prior experience working with children with special needs.
