We are seeking a talented Sales Engineer to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding market share in the Gutor UPS business within the oil & gas and industrial segments.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute action plans with structured and planned sales activities towards sustainable and profitable orders intake and sales of Gutor's offer based on established and new business models and go-to-market approaches.
  • Assess existing market potential and define new opportunities and markets for growing Gutor's business.
  • Secure Gutor's success as a team based on whole customer experience from marketing and sales activity through tendering, project execution, and after-sales service and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation from new customers and new segments, establishing long-term customer relationships with targeted end-users and EPCs in included countries.
  • Meetings with customers' engineering and technical teams to communicate and promote Gutor's value proposition.
  • Preparing technical and commercial quotations (with the Tendering team's support) for FEED, EPC stage bids to bids, and Firm EPC bids to buy stages of targeted projects in respective regions, ensuring ownership (with stakeholders - end-users, multiple EPCs located in different regions).
  • Win targeted projects in accordance with Gutor's sales guidance.
  • Responsible for payment collection from customers for sales done.
  • Consistently searching for feedback on Gutor's performance from existing customers - end-users and partners, sharing this information with colleagues internally for celebrating Gutor Team success and developing improvement actions if necessary.
  • Attentively follow market trends and key competition movements to anticipate and adjust sales tactics to increase Gutor's market share and protect existing installed base and long-term partnerships with customers.
  • Master discipline and accuracy in using sales tools for managing targeted customers, opportunities, and tendering activities, including Bid-to-Bid and Bid-to-Buy proposal submission and approval in accordance with Gutor's Sales Guidance and processes.
  • Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual order targets achievement in accordance with the annual order target provided for the area.

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of selling experience in the UPS industry.
  • An electrical engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge on customer engagement, penetration into new customers, drive for results, organization skills, time management, understanding of business development activities, effective communication skills (written and verbal) for interface with customers and co-workers.
  • Candidate should be able to work in a matrix environment.

Salary Estimate: ₹900,000 - ₹1,200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
