Job Role Summary

The primary goal of this position is to foster relationships with new customers in the designated segment, thereby generating references from a specific catchment area. This will involve introducing and acquiring new current account customers while ensuring that sourced products align with the bank's policy.

Key Responsibilities
  • To initiate and establish connections with potential customers in the specified segment, focusing on creating value propositions that resonate with their needs.
  • Ensure the quality sourcing of current accounts, balancing product mix, segments, and constitution to meet organizational objectives.
  • Provide initial customer support and guidance, including opening accounts within set timelines, familiarizing customers with branch services, and monitoring welcome kit delivery.
  • Promote proactive registration and activation of acquired customers to digital banking channels.
  • Collaborate with Business Relationship Leaders in catchment mapping exercises, providing regular feedback on opportunities, customer needs, and competition benchmarks.
  • Maintain and exceed targets for new customer acquisition month-over-month by analyzing transaction banking needs.
  • Adhere to sales norms defined by the organization and internal/external regulatory guidelines.
  • Evaluate and improve the quality of sourced products according to bank policies.
