Job Title: Strategic Business Development Lead
The role of a Strategic Business Development Lead is to drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the government sector, focusing on information security, cloud, and data centre services.
This involves developing and executing plans and strategies to target new and existing business opportunities, managing complex negotiations with senior-level executives, and building long-term relationships with customers.
In addition, the successful candidate will have experience in independently handling sales for products related to security, communication, and IT hardware, as well as marketing and sales for system integration.
They will also possess strong commercial acumen, understanding of ROI, cost sheet, and net margin calculations, and be able to collaborate to devise end-to-end solutions that align with customer business requirements.
Key qualifications include experience in handling large and complex bids/RFPs/tenders, strong negotiation and communication skills, technology savvy, and a willingness to travel.
Preferred qualifications include experience with system integrators and having a project ownership mindset.
