Business Development Manager Role

Summary of the job: To drive sales for Loan against Property business through multiple channels and expand the market, ensuring sustained growth by adding new locations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales and distribution across various channels and open markets.
  • Grow the Direct Sales team and focus on increasing productivity.
  • Identify and capitalize on untapped areas in the market.
  • Meet High Net Worth (HNI) clients and provide detailed explanations about products related to Loan against property, Home Finance, and Working capital.
  • Establish relationships with builders and secure tie-ups for primary markets.
  • Obtain project approvals from builders.
  • Generate additional revenue through cross-selling and multi-selling of Insurance, Current Accounts, Credit Cards, etc.
  • Train and develop the Direct Sales Team (DST) and Distribution Service Agents (DSAs).
  • Liaise with internal teams for business operations like credit, legal, technical, Relationship Compliance Unit (RCU), and Operations.
  • Process cases end-to-end and update customer status.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance Net Promoter Score (NPS) ratings.

The ideal candidate should have experience in secured loan sales.
