Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Director to lead our apparel manufacturing unit's day-to-day operations. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring daily, weekly, and monthly production targets are consistently met with optimum quality, efficiency, and cost control.

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership style, technical expertise, and a results-driven approach in a high-volume garment manufacturing environment. You will oversee end-to-end operations across production, quality, maintenance, and material flow, implementing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and other process improvement methods to minimize downtime and ensure smooth workflow across all production lines.

You will also be responsible for ensuring all products meet defined quality standards (AQL, buyer specifications) and supporting regular in-line and end-line quality checks. Additionally, you will assist in budget control, waste reduction, and improving cost efficiency, ensuring optimal usage of manpower, machinery, and materials.

A successful candidate will have a proven track record of achieving daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing targets in a similar role. They will possess sound knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, sewing line balancing, fabric types, trims, and finishing, as well as familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO quality systems.
