A global technology leader is seeking a technical leader to drive the growth and scalability of its India-based team.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead the development and operational performance of the India-based IT team, aligning India capabilities with the global IT strategy. This involves maturing the organisational culture and driving greater collaboration across teams.

  • Provide People Leadership: Alignment to India IT Infra Ops team
  • Drive alignment with the global IT and business objectives, promoting a proactive approach rather than simply following orders.
  • Collaborate with global leadership to develop strategies that support IT transformation, innovation, and long-term growth.

This role requires overseeing the deliverables of local teams and promoting a high-performance culture within the team. A technical leader with an understanding of the engineering landscape in India and the ability to navigate market dynamics is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive initiatives that align India operations with the broader company vision and technology roadmap, enabling growth and scalability.
  2. Champion efforts to enhance collaboration, communication, and transparency within the India team and across global functions.
  3. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, encouraging a collaborative approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  4. Lead initiatives to foster cross-functional teamwork and break down silos between departments, ensuring full integration into the global organisational culture.

We are looking for someone with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage and collaborate with stakeholders across all organisational levels. Experience in optimising operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement initiatives is also essential.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Engineering.
  • 10 years of overall experience, including at least 5 years managing and scaling teams in India.
  • Experience leading teams through strategic initiatives that drive organisational growth and cultural change.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to foster collaboration across global teams and functions.
