Job Profile

We are seeking an expert-level technical support professional to fill this role.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in network security, advanced networking skills, and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing expert-level technical support for our network security product
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical customer issues
  • Authoring technical knowledge base articles for use by other technical support personnel and customers
  • Recreating, tracking, and verifying software defects in the field or under lab conditions reported by customers

Skill Sets Desired:

  • Advanced Networking Skills: A detailed understanding of IP service provider networks, protocols surrounding TCP/IP, subnetting, supernetting, and hierarchical routing principles
  • Strong Network Security Skills: Required knowledge includes DDOS, IPS, IDS, threat detection, and mitigation
  • Operating Systems: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Linux
  • Databases: Basic to intermediate knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQLite
  • Scripting: Good to have scripting skills in shell and/or high-level languages such as Python, Perl, and PHP

Other Requirements:

  • Candidate should be customer-focused, with strong attention to detail, and able to establish and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and customer personnel
  • Outstanding customer service and advanced written and verbal communication skills
