Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead our team of talented engineers. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our managed services, including customer service management and consistent product improvement engineering.

Your primary focus will be on managing a growing engineering team to optimize the quality and velocity of both development and operations. You will identify and measure key team health indicators, implement disciplined engineering and operations processes, and represent the team with stakeholders, customers, and external teams.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of professional experience in software delivery using Python, Go, C, C++, Java, or similar, as well as managing operations teams. A strong commitment to testing methodologies and maintainable code quality is essential. Experience with Linux system administration, Ubuntu/Debian, agile software development methodologies, distributed teams, and cloud topologies and technologies is also highly desirable.

You will work closely with customers, product engineering, and operations to deliver quality managed services in a consistent, timely manner. Travel to team and company events, and customer meetings will be required approximately 20% of the time.

  • Experience with Linux system administration, Ubuntu/Debian a plus
