Job Title: Application Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing technical support and resolving issues related to custom web applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with experience working with Microsoft technologies. They should be proficient in monitoring and diagnosing application issues using APM solutions, as well as identifying performance bottlenecks and providing recommendations.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and understand requirements.
  • Provide excellent customer support and resolve issues promptly.
  • Analyze complex technical issues and make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Contribute to agile planning activities and backlog management.
  • Identify and escalate application issues or risks to the team.
  • Improve development processes and tools for increased efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and document support processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, IT, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' working experience.
  • Proficiency in monitoring and diagnosing application issues using APM solutions.
  • Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks and providing recommendations.
  • Knowledge of some of the tools/platform such as ASP.NET, C#, SQL, EPiServer CMS, REST API.
  • Experience in GIT.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Python, PowerShell.
  • Expertise in analyzing application logs.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Technologies, Solutions Development, Digital Experience.
  • Experience working in Agile or DevOps teams.
