Cash Application Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end process of cash application, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve disputes and queries related to cash application.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and excellent communication skills. They will be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities:
  • Process cash applications from invoices at assigned sites, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Identify and resolve unidentified cash and manage end-to-end process of cash applications.
  • Making collection calls to customers, emailing/faxing invoices or getting hard copies mailed out to customers as per their requests.
  • Follow up on customer/internal disputes, customer questions and working between departments to get a resolution.
  • Reconcile orders to match customer books, including validating credits or debits and sending them to customer for collection or refund
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field.
  • Freshers are eligible.
  • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable/Order to Cash.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
