Job Title: Cash and Collections Specialist

Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Cash and Collections Specialist. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for collecting delinquent amounts from customers over the phone or by obtaining promises from them to make payments.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work well under pressure. They will also possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities include managing cash flow, detailing, application, transfers, write-offs, making collections to customers, emailing/faxing invoices, reconciling orders to match customer books, following up on customer/internal disputes, and providing payment plans based on customer requirements.

In addition to these responsibilities, the ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks concurrently, and prioritize responsibilities accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce
  • Proven experience in cash management and collections
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
