Job Title

The Payments Processing Operator is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of payments, including physical cash valuables. This role involves complex transactions on behalf of internal and external clients.

The operator must capture payment transactions accurately, ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and industry guidelines. They must also identify potential areas for process improvement within the bank or for clients.

  • Process items according to procedures and cut-off times
  • Collate data regarding process issues and communicate with managers
  • Carry out EOD functions as per checklists and maintain relevant records

This role requires a clear understanding of payment flows, SWIFT operations, and risk management. The ideal candidate should have a minimum graduation in any stream.
