Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and recover outstanding payments from customers, investigate and address customer concerns related to billing, payments, or account discrepancies, and assist with day-to-day calls/queries related to billing processes.

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-9 years of experience in accounting and finance with a focus on accounts receivable, end-to-end knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including billing, invoicing, cash application, and customer reconciliation.
  • A basic understanding of billing and invoicing procedures is required, as well as the ability to work under time pressure in a dynamic business environment.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be conversant in various online tools and systems used for accounts receivable, possess good analytical and communication skills, and have oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with field location teams for necessary supporting documents required for billing.
  • Manage and recover outstanding payments from customers.
  • Investigate and address customer concerns related to billing, payments, or account discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-9 years of experience in accounting and finance with a focus on accounts receivable.
  • End-to-end knowledge of accounts receivable processes, including billing, invoicing, cash application, and customer reconciliation.
  • Basic understanding of billing and invoicing procedures.
  • Conversant in various online tools and systems used for accounts receivable.
  • Good analytical and communication skills.
  • High energy, self-motivation, and a high degree of accountability.
  • Oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Capability to work under time pressure in a dynamic business environment.
