Our organization is seeking a skilled Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation network.

This position involves tracking and monitoring the movement of drivers and trucks to guarantee on-time pickups and deliveries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing loads, dispatching drivers, and collecting and uploading relevant documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be proficient in using transportation management software such as ALVYS TMS. They should also have a strong attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Track and monitor driver and truck movements
  • Manage loads and dispatch drivers
  • Collect and upload Proof of Delivery (PODs), receipts, and other relevant documents
  • Communicate effectively with shippers, brokers, and customers via email and phone

Requirements:

  • Experience in transportation operations, preferably in refrigerated trucking
  • Proficiency in using ALVYS TMS or similar transportation management software
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
