Assistant Store Manager Job Description

This role involves managing the day-to-day retail/store operations of a high-end boutique. The ideal candidate will have experience in the premium/luxury home category and be able to increase sales turnover and maximize profitability.

  • Exceeding Sales Budget
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and in-store experience
  • Converting Project Business through Interior Designers & Architects
  • Maintaining all necessary reports, inventory and visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines.
  • Expanding High-Net-Worth Individual Database - Customer data to be well collected, updated & maintained

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an organized and process-oriented individual who can handle difficult customer situations and demonstrate attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively present information, respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and customers and adhere to company policies and procedures.

The role also involves business development and making corporate sales. A preference would be given to candidates with experience in the Premium/Luxury Home Category (home décor, furniture, lighting, interior and lifestyle products).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor / Masters – Degree / Diploma (Sales/Retail Sales)
  • 4 plus years of retail sales operational experience with luxury/Premium Brands
  • Fluent English & Hindi

  • Ability to write reports
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Serious, proactive and can handle and deal comfortably in a multinational environment.
