Quality Assurance Lead

The Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Leader to oversee the overall quality of our applications, data, and development processes. This individual will be responsible for managing and refining our software QA practices, defining and reporting on key quality metrics, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure all system data and applications features meet the highest standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in QA manual and automation processes, software testing lifecycle, and agile methodologies. They will also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as experience in planning, designing, implementing, and using automated test suites.

The Quality Assurance Leader will lead a team of QA Engineers and report directly to the SVP, Software Engineering. They will work closely with the VP of Data and Analytics to ensure seamless collaboration across teams.

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Define and implement the QA strategy aligned with business and engineering goals.
  • Establish quality standards, KPIs, and metrics to measure and improve product quality.
  • Process & Methodology:
  • Develop and maintain robust QA processes including test planning, execution, automation, and reporting.
  • Champion Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices to integrate QA seamlessly into the development lifecycle.
  • Automation & Tools:
  • Drive the adoption of test automation frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage.
  • Evaluate and implement QA technologies that support scalability and innovation.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to ensure quality is embedded throughout the SDLC.
  • Act as the voice of quality in executive discussions and product planning.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate quality risks early in the development process.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for critical defects and failures.
