Job Overview

The role of an IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Manager is a critical one within our organization. As a GRC Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring that our business operations are conducted in full compliance with all relevant national and international laws and regulations.

This includes professional standards, accepted business practices, internal policy standards, and IT Security frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS, etc. requirements. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of the highly innovative and dynamic environment of a FinTech organisation.

In this role, you will be responsible for presenting a pragmatic approach to compliance that requires both ethical and technical expertise. Your primary objective will be to help the organization manage risk and build trust with its Customers.

Functional/Technical Skills
  • Skill 1: Support design, implementation, and management of IT Controls & Compliance Frameworks for an international organisation.
  • Skill 2: Ensure compliance with industry best security practices within SaaS environments.
  • Skill 3: Manage and coordinate customer and independent third-party attestations as part of contractual obligations and certification requirements.
  • Skill 4: Support Third-Party Risk assessments and regular assurance programs.
  • Skill 5: Prior experience working with GRC tools and platforms.
  • Skill 6: Ability to analyse and translate laws, regulations, and technical requirements into commercially focussed business processes.
  • Skill 7: Ability to execute and report status on Risk Assessment and Risk Mitigation Program metrics.
  • Skill 8: Proficient at maintaining policies and procedures as part of the Policy Governance Framework and coordinating with other departments.

Requirements
  • Requirement 1: Proven ability to lead tactical compliance setup and operations.
  • Requirement 2: SME with the ability to give concise and to-the-point compliance advice.
  • Requirement 3: Proactive & analytical program management approach.
  • Requirement 4: Strategic problem solver who can take issues and find practical business solutions.
  • Requirement 5: Internal & external stakeholder management.
  • Requirement 6: Collaboration and interaction with colleagues from all relevant departments, vendors, partners, and customers.
  • Requirement 7: Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant working experience in the practical implementation of Compliance programs in an international environment.
  • Requirement 8: Bachelor's degree required; Academic degree desired in the area of IT Security, Risk Management, Cyber Security, Information Security.
  • Requirement 9: Fluent English - written and spoken required (mandatory).
  • Requirement 10: Professional certifications (e.g. ISC2 or CompTIA certifications) desired or willingness to obtain them.
  • Requirement 11: Experience with managing in a functional way (not hierarchical).
