Job Title: Sourcing and Procurement Specialist

The Role:

This is a key role for a skilled professional looking to apply their procurement expertise in a dynamic business environment. As a Sourcing and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing high volume low risk engagements with a focus on prompt turnaround.

You will work closely with clients to lead them through the sourcing process, from contract negotiations to contract execution, risk and governance support and approvals. Your skills and experience will also enable you to assess, define and resolve procurement issues including contractual terms and conditions and escalations by internal stakeholders and suppliers.

To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding of general procurement challenges and solutions. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, your analytical skills, combined with your ability to make good decisions based on analysis, common sense and experience, will serve you well in this position.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs.
  • Manage the sourcing process from initiation to completion, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams.
  • Provide input into the development of company-wide sourcing initiatives.


About You:

We are looking for an experienced Sourcing and Procurement Specialist who has a proven track record of success in similar roles. You will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with SAP Ariba Contracts and Sourcing Modules would be beneficial, but not essential.
