Procurement Specialist Job Description

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for identifying new suppliers, evaluating product quality and cost, coordinating with the design and production teams, and ensuring timely procurement and delivery of materials.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to meet business needs
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality products
  • Manage supplier relationships to build trust and ensure smooth communication
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and opportunities

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience in procurement and sourcing activities
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating suppliers and procurement data
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
