Job Title: Strategic Materials Procurement Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and negotiating with suppliers for assigned materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supplier Sourcing and Negotiation: Source and negotiate with suppliers for assigned materials and services, ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Support and Collaboration: Conduct S2C support in close collaboration with Local Buyer, promoting harmonization of specifications and decreased complexity.
  • Procurement Process Enhancement: Work with internal Business Partners to improve procurement processes, drive project SR requests, and implement tactical process enhancements.
  • Cost Saving and Working Capital: Achieve cost saving targets and increase company working capital through efficient procurement practices.
  • Invoicing and Order Placement: Provide timely analysis and resolution to issues relating to invoicing and order placement.
Compliance and Processes:
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant policies and procedures (e.g., KC Procurement Guideline, Code of Conduct, trade controls, etc.) and are documented properly.
  • Operational Excellence: Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement to increase operational excellence and improve documentation of processes.
