Job Overview

The Head of Sales Dairy Industry is a critical role within Devdort, responsible for leading and managing the sales function within the dairy industry. This position plays a vital part in driving revenue growth and market share through the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement sales plans to achieve company sales targets, driving revenue growth and market share.
  • Lead and Manage the Sales Team: Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure the sales team is equipped to meet sales targets.
  • Establish and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key customers and distributors, identifying new business opportunities and developing innovative sales strategies to expand market presence.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights for decision-making and forecasting, ensuring the sales team is equipped to meet sales targets.
Required Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus. Proven track record of at least 7-10 years in sales management, preferably in the dairy industry.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Industry Knowledge and Expertise: Deep understanding of the dairy industry, market dynamics, and consumer preferences.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
