Job Title: Directory Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Directory Infrastructure Specialist to lead our enterprise migration initiative. The project involves transitioning from existing Active Directory forests to Entra ID (Azure AD) and PaaS-based DNS infrastructure. As a key team member, you will play a critical role in hands-on engineering, scripting, and configuration across hybrid identity and network environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document existing AD and DNS configurations
  • Migrate domain controllers and set up replication across multiple AD forests
  • Support integration and migration to Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Assist in transitioning DNS from Windows to a PaaS-based solution
  • Configure and manage DHCP scopes, conditional forwarders, and stub zones
  • Troubleshoot issues with LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM-based authentication
  • Write and maintain PowerShell scripts for provisioning and automation
  • Execute infrastructure-as-code via Terraform within existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Follow detailed implementation plans provided by the architect or lead
  • Collaborate with the team through Jira, participate in daily standups, and maintain accurate technical documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5-10 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory (multi-domain or multi-forest environments)
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), PKI, NPS, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, Kerberos, NTLM protocols, OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, AD Trusts, Group Policy, OUs, FSMO roles, and PowerShell scripting
