Job Description:

As a seasoned IT professional, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing Windows Server infrastructure on Azure.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and managing Windows Servers, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have expertise in Active Directory, with experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory infrastructure, including user and group management, replication, and troubleshooting.

A strong background in PowerShell scripting is also essential, as the candidate will be required to automate tasks, generate reports, and perform bulk operations using PowerShell.

The chosen individual must also possess skills in patching and security updates using WSUS/SCCM, NTFS, firewall, and antivirus software.

Furthermore, the candidate should have knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies, including Veeam, Windows Backup, and recovery planning.

Experience in virtualization solutions, including Hyper-V, VMware, and VM lifecycle management, is also highly desirable.

Lastly, the successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting system issues using SCOM, Event Viewer, and PerfMon.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Windows Server (2008–2022): Set up, configure, and manage Windows Servers, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Objects.
  • Active Directory: Design, implement, and maintain Active Directory infrastructure, including user and group management, replication, and troubleshooting.
  • Powershell: Automate tasks, generate reports, and perform bulk operations using PowerShell scripting.
  • Patch & Security: Manage patching and security updates using WSUS/SCCM, NTFS, firewall, and antivirus software.
