Job Title: Cloud Computing Infrastructure Specialist

A leading organization is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Computing Infrastructure Specialist to lead the management of its hybrid server infrastructure. This role involves maintaining and optimizing both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), and Windows 365 Cloud PCs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Administer and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022/2025) across on-prem and Azure platforms.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Machines and related services (e.g., Azure Backup, Azure Monitor, Azure Update Management).
  • Design, implement, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, including host pools, session hosts, FSLogix profiles, and scaling plans.
  • Manage Windows 365 Cloud PCs, including provisioning policies, user assignments, and performance monitoring.
  • Hypervisor administration (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware), including provisioning of virtual machines, performance tuning, capacity planning, and troubleshooting of virtual environments.
  • Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell and Azure CLI.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security across all environments.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce policies and respond to vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for hybrid workloads.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior team members.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in server administration with a focus on Microsoft technologies.
  • Proven experience managing both on-prem and Azure-based virtual machines.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365 Cloud PC administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and Windows Server OS.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Familiarity with hybrid networking, VPNs, and ExpressRoute.
