IT Server Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the IT Server Infrastructure Specialist is to design, implement, and maintain a robust and secure server infrastructure that meets the organization's business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers, including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Hyper-V.
- Monitor server performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing to safeguard data.
- Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to servers to protect against vulnerabilities.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other server roles.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of server operating systems, including Windows and Linux.
- Experience with virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
