Product Marketing Manager Job Description

This is a highly strategic role that plays a critical part in ensuring the success of our company's products and services. The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies that drive product adoption, contribute to building brand equity, and drive business value and revenue growth.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the product positioning based on research and identify key benefits and features that resonate with the target audience.
  • Develop compelling messaging and content that communicates the product's value proposition to the target audience.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent product messaging across all channels.
  • Launch and promote the product by creating and executing go-to-market strategies, including developing marketing campaigns and collaborating on events and webinars.
  • Analyze performance data and use insights to optimize future product marketing strategies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, computer science, or a related field; MBA or Master Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of experience in product marketing and/or product management in an enterprise B2B or SaaS environment.
  • Marketing expertise: strong understanding of product marketing principles and tactics, including market research, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and branding.
  • Product knowledge: deep understanding of a company's products or services, as well as the market and competition.
  • Communication skills: excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical skills: highly skilled at analyzing data and making data-driven decisions.
  • Creativity: ability to come up with new and effective ways to promote the product and engage the target audience.
  • Project management skills: ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks.
