About the Role:This is a leadership opportunity to spearhead the development and implementation of strategic product initiatives that drive business growth, improve customer experience, and enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute strategic product roadmaps that align with business objectives, leveraging industry trends, innovative technologies, and market insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch new products or features, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Drive business growth through data-driven decision making, analyzing market opportunities, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and teamwork within the organization.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and external frameworks, promoting a risk-aware and control-minded approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including solution architects, programme managers, and group payments product development heads.
- Mentor and develop high-performing teams, providing coaching, training, and resources to ensure they have the skills and expertise needed to succeed.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the organization.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and resource plans, ensuring effective use of resources and alignment with business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with payment schemes, network associations, and other business-critical areas.
- At least 10-12 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in banking clients/payment products/project management, with a good understanding of payment capabilities, digital products, and financial drivers.
- Strong understanding of payment schemes, network associations, and regulatory mandates.
- Proven experience working under Agile framework, with certification in PMP or Agile desirable.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with ability to work with geographically dispersed stakeholders.
- Very Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to manage senior stakeholders and top management.
