Job Description:

As a key member of our organization, the Senior Payroll Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless payroll operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire payroll cycle, from data collection to payment, with utmost accuracy and efficiency.

  • Process payroll transactions with precision, including calculating wages, benefits, taxes, and commissions.
  • Enter timesheet and payroll data into databases and software systems, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and process paychecks, direct deposits, and financial reports, ensuring timely payments and compliance with tax laws.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
  • Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve concerns in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Perform payroll reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare termination payments, including annual leave and redundancy calculations, in accordance with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • e-File TDS returns and form 16 as per income tax regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Generate periodic payroll reports for review by senior management, providing insights into payroll trends and areas for improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of experience in payroll processing with a degree in business or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
