Seeking a seasoned finance expert to drive the financial strategy and operations of our school.

About the Role

This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of our school's finances, ensuring accurate forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective financial plans, forecasts, and strategies to support the school's growth and sustainability.
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss accounts, and Cash Flow statements.
  • Oversee the development and management of budgets, ensuring alignment with the school's strategic objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Financial Management Expertise
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including income tax, GST, and education-sector-specific regulations.
  • Manage expatriate staff payroll and taxation, ensuring compliance with international taxation norms and double-taxation treaties where applicable.
  • Oversee audits (statutory, internal, and external) and liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Oversee all finance-related aspects of the admissions process, including fee structures, invoicing, collections, and refunds.
  • Implement transparent and parent-friendly financial processes aligned with the school's ethos.
  • Monitor fee receivables and manage collection processes to ensure healthy cash flow.
Leadership and Team Management
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Oversee procurement, vendor management, contracts, and resource allocation.
