Key Role: Financial Strategist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled financial strategist to play a critical role in driving deal pricing, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), variance analysis, and management reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strong business acumen, analytical expertise, and the ability to partner with senior stakeholders to deliver insights that enable informed decision-making and margin improvement across complex global deals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deal Pricing & Commercial Modelling
  • Partnering with sales and business teams to design, review, and validate deal structures.
  • Supporting pricing governance processes and ensuring competitiveness while protecting margins.
  • Conducting benchmarking and scenario modelling for strategic bids.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
  • Leading annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Consolidating financial data across business units and delivering forward-looking analysis.
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlighting business trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory.
  • Experience: 5+ years post-qualification in business finance, preferably in IT/ITeS or services industry.
  • Strong exposure to deal pricing, FP&A, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Proven track record of working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
