We are seeking an accomplished and visionary financial expert to lead our organisation during a period of growth.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will oversee all financial aspects of the business, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring robust financial controls and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Strategy & Planning:
    • Develop comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organisational objectives
    • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
    • Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to executive leaders
    • Drive financial modelling for business initiatives, investments
  • Financial Operations & Management:
    • Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, and financial reporting functions
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and regulatory compliance
    • Implement and maintain internal controls and risk management frameworks
    • Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital structure optimisation
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
    • Collaborate with executive leaders on strategic initiatives
    • Present financial results to stakeholders, investors, and board members
    • Champion financial best practices across the organisation
  • Growth & Investment Management:
    • Support fundraising activities and investor relations
    • Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and strategic investments
    • Oversee financial due diligence for business development opportunities
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
    • 10+ years of progressive finance experience with 5+ years in senior leadership roles
    • Previous CFO or similar C-level financial leadership experience
    • Strong background in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
    • Proven track record managing teams and driving organisational growth
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Advanced proficiency in financial systems and analytics tools
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Extensive experience in the IT services industry with deep understanding of project-based revenue recognition, managed services, subscription-based revenue streams, resource utilisation metrics, and project profitability analysis
    • Background with high-growth or scaling IT services organisations
    • Experience managing financial operations across multiple geographies
    • Knowledge of IT industry regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks
    • Understanding of technology talent acquisition costs and retention economics
    • Familiarity with client contract structures including time & materials, fixed-price, and outcome-based pricing
    • International finance experience, particularly in global IT delivery models
    • Experience with M&A transactions in the technology sector
    • Strong investor relations background in technology companies
