About the Mission:

As cities grow, young Indians are increasingly disconnected. We spend more time indoors and online, and less time connecting with each other.

We want to change that. Our platform helps young Indians reconnect in real life: read books together, debate politics, brainstorm startups, flirt, volunteer, run, play games, or find community however they like.

The format will evolve over time, but our mission is clear: help young Indians reconnect meaningfully and offline.

Your Role:

You'll lead our financial strategy, fundraising, and operational scale-up as our Finance & Operations leader. You'll ensure we have the resources, systems, and processes to grow sustainably from Day 1.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage financial models (unit economics, CAC/LTV, marketplace liquidity).
  • Lead fundraising: prepare investor materials, prepare pitch decks, manage financial modelling and investor relations.
  • Build robust financial systems: accounting, compliance, reporting, unit economics, CAC/LTV analysis.
  • Oversee compliance, accounting, and corporate governance.
  • Design and execute marketplace operations playbook.
  • Design operational processes for venue partnerships, equipment rentals, and event logistics.
  • Balance marketplace liquidity: ensuring enough hosts & events to meet attendee demand.
  • Build trust & safety operations: dispute resolution, refunds, and community guidelines.
  • Oversee legal & compliance frameworks: contracts, NDAs, corporate structure, MCA compliance.
  • Forge partnerships with venues, service providers, and student organizations.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in finance, consulting, or startup operations.
  • Prior experience in marketplaces or consumer platforms is a plus.
  • Comfort managing logistics, partnerships, and customer support.
  • Strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves in early execution.
  • Passion for building communities and scaling people-first businesses.
