Job Description:

The primary focus of this role is to conduct thorough credit audits, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

Key responsibilities include reviewing pre- and post-sanction processes, disbursement, and monitoring procedures within the Wholesale Banking segment and SMEs.

Auditors will lead or participate in business credit audits, overseeing a team of 2-4 auditors to guarantee timely commencement and closure of audits, including documentation of working papers.

Furthermore, they will prepare and submit audit reports within stipulated time frames, along with timely submissions of RBI data, Tranche III, and other regulatory requirements.

Additionally, auditors will evaluate the quality of audit reports, ensuring correctness, consistency of data furnished, emphasis on policies, internal guidelines, process, practices, and people, revenue assurance, and risk coverage.

Special audits, checklists, and thematic audits will also be conducted as assigned, coordinating with concurrent auditors for effective monitoring and ensuring the quality of concurrent audit reports.

Ultimately, auditors will examine developments on Credit-related areas to provide assurance on regulatory and control requirements, devising audit checklists for internal/concurrent Auditors, and testing processes/procedures to prevent pitfalls and bottlenecks.

Finally, suggestions for improvement to existing processes/systems will be provided to line management.
