About the Role:
At Dermis Oracle, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Zone Business Development Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales and business development professional to lead our business growth in the South zone.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth and expand market presence in the zone.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Conduct regular team meetings, set clear goals, and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
- Sales and Revenue Management:
- Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to assess productivity and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop innovative sales strategies and promotional campaigns to maximise revenue and achieve business goals.
- Implement 100% field compliance in the zone, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Implement a sales force effectiveness system across the zone to drive business growth.
- Payment Collection:
- Collections from all stakeholders, including doctors, C&F agents, and distributors.
- Training and Development:
- Identify training needs for employees and develop training programs to enhance their product knowledge, selling skills, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends, networking activities, and industry developments to ensure the team's knowledge and skills are current.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, distributors, and other stakeholders in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
- Budget and Resource Allocation:
- Plan and manage the zone budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor expenses and control costs within the allocated budgetary limits.
- Optimise travel budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Compliance and Ethics:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, company policies, and ethical standards in all business activities.
- Promote a culture of integrity and professionalism within the team.
Candidature Profile:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Experience: At least 12-15 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical sales, with experience as a 2nd or 3rd line manager in a similar role.
- Ability to travel: Ability to travel within the designated zone and occasionally nationally as required.
