As a senior executive, you will lead the in-country delivery of our India strategy. This role oversees operations, governance, and compliance for three entities, managing a talented team of 11. The position is based in the Bengaluru office, with a minimum of two days per week spent on-site.

The most senior representative in India, you will lead the local office, maintain statutory compliance, hold a directorship, and ensure seamless collaboration with international colleagues. You will play a key role in aligning regional delivery with global priorities.

  • Operate as legal representative and Director for all Indian entities, ensuring local laws and internal policies are upheld
  • Oversee budgeting, team management, financial planning, and reporting across all business units
  • Lead and develop the Bengaluru-based team; mentor managers and foster a high-performance culture
  • Deliver against a mission-led strategy focused on professional development, engineering excellence, and social impact
  • Liaise with international teams to ensure operational alignment
  • Represent the organisation with confidence in legal, governance, and business forums

About you:

  • Proven operational leadership in India - ideally in a professional membership body, association or similarly regulated environment
  • Exceptional understanding of governance, compliance, and HR practices
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L
  • Ability to drive strategy with warmth, rigour, and agility
  • Line management experience with the gravitas to lead national delivery
