Job Title: Chief Operating Officer

A highly skilled and accomplished leader is required to drive strategic growth for a leading manufacturer.

About The Role

The company specializes in high-quality customized steel products, primarily serving the Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals sectors. With over six decades of industry credibility and a strong regional presence, the organization is poised for significant expansion with a clear roadmap for global growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the enterprise's financial performance and lead the company's next phase of growth—expanding markets, upgrading operations, and building a high-performance culture.
  • Take ownership across commercial, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, finance, HR, IT, compliance, and ESG—working through empowered functional heads and Group shared services.
  • Drive market expansion with focus on Oil & Gas and new verticals; build channel/partner ecosystems in priority geographies.
  • Build a predictable order book and margin profile; negotiate long-cycle contracts and key accounts.
  • Modernize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality; deploy capital expenditures with ROI discipline.
  • Lead digital transformation; institutionalize data-driven governance (S&OP, SKU profitability, cash conversion, vendor scorecards).
  • Strengthen supply chain resilience—vendor development and strategic sourcing.
  • Establish a performance culture—clear goals and leadership bench, with safety and compliance as non-negotiables.
  • Represent the company with customers, partners, auditors, and industry bodies; uphold brand and governance standards.
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with a strong track record in driving growth across domestic and international markets, securing large, multi-year contracts. Experience in Oil & Gas, manufacturing, or heavy engineering is preferred.

Solid financial acumen and stakeholder management skills are essential. Additionally, we require a people leader who builds accountable teams and a performance culture.

Education: Engineering + MBA/PGDM desirable.
