Job Title: Senior Manager - Corporate Development

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Manager to lead our corporate development efforts. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving strategic growth by identifying and integrating acquisition targets, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with confidentiality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):
    • Determine potential M&A and strategic partnership opportunities aligned with corporate objectives
    • Analyze financial modelling and valuation analysis
    • Develop financial forecasting, business case development, and scenario analysis; Assess financial and operational risks associated with the transaction
    • Manage due diligence processes, working closely with internal teams, external advisors, and investment banks
    • Prepare presentations for internal review and senior leadership
    • Lead drafting of all transaction documents as well as closing procedures
    • Ensure post-merger integration, synergies, and operational alignment
  • Strategy & Corporate Development:
    • Develop business segment wise strategy, assessing industry trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities; lead creation of strategic plan documents for the business
    • Support senior leadership in defining long-term business objectives and investment plan
    • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking
    • Prepare strategic plan and annual operating plan presentations and reports for executive leadership
    • Evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and joint ventures to drive business expansion
    • Monitor post-investment performance and strategic alignment with corporate objectives
    • Manage program development for key corporate initiatives, ensuring completion and achievement of milestones

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in M&A / Strategy roles
  • Understanding of M&A processes, documentation, and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation skills
  • Hands-on experience with financial dataset tools (Bloomberg / Capital IQ)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
