Senior Engineering Proposal Specialist

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing the entire proposal process from initial contact to contract signing.

  • Manage the planning and execution of proposals to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Develop comprehensive bid strategies for complex projects, identifying competitive advantages and recommending solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, consulting, and legal departments, to develop and package responses to proposals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during the proposal process, working closely with Account Managers and Directors.
  • Oversee proposal submissions and drive approvals while mitigating risk.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Thorough knowledge of power systems, including generation, transmission, distribution, and energy automation in various segments such as metro rail, solar, wind, and industrial.
  • Proficiency in relays and protection systems from 33kV to 765kV.
  • Understanding of SCADA systems and different architectures.
  • Experience with control IEDs, BCUs, BCPUs, RTUs, data concentrators, gateways, and HAPG products and offerings.
  • Ability to interpret single-line diagrams, architecture, layouts, bills of materials, specifications, and other relevant documents for proposal preparation.

You should also possess:

  • Adequate knowledge of project risk assessment and feasibility studies.
  • Strong communication skills to respond to clients with technical support and persuade customers on capacity and offer complete solutions.
  • The ability to prepare and review detailed scopes of work, commercial calculations, delivery schedules, and documentation as required.
  • Necessary competency to optimize offerings with different choices of products and solutions available in the market, in close coordination with engineering, supply chain, and cross-functional teams.
