Production Leadership Role

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the production operations of an organization.

  • Lead and manage production teams to achieve operational efficiency and productivity targets.
  • Collaborate with planning teams to execute material planning, achieving maximum productivity and performance (MPP) goals.
  • Resolve daily challenges through various problem-solving methodologies, including SIM-1, SIM-2, SIM-3, and SIM-5.
  • Oversee SIM-3 and SIM-5 processes alongside heads of department from manufacturing, test engineering, warehouse, facilities, planning, procurement, safety, and human resources.
  • Facilitate productive meetings to address productivity, efficiency, and quality concerns in production.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations across manufacturing departments.
  • Promote knowledge enhancement projects and improvement activities in coordination with support groups.
  • Manage ECO documentation and implementation controls effectively.
  • Review and recommend enhancements for existing inter-departmental procedures.
  • Maintain control over non-quality costs through corrective measures supported by SRT tools.
  • Take proactive actions to address customer complaints through targeted projects.
  • Implement and maintain standard process systems (SPS).
  • Ensure ongoing monitoring and improvement of all production key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive manpower planning for the plant and implement multi-skilling for the workforce.
  • Continuously refine daily production planning based on order-to-delivery management requirements and bill-of-lading (BOL) information.
  • Drive projects to overcome recurring barriers hindering the achievement of KPIs.
