Enterprise Information Security Visionary

Job Summary:

As an Enterprise Information Security Visionary, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining our enterprise information security vision, strategy, and program. You will lead efforts to safeguard our information systems, networks, and data against threats while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement our information security strategy, policies, and procedures to protect against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption solutions, and other security technologies.
  • Lead security awareness and training programs for all employees to foster a culture of security awareness.
  • Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across our operations.
  • Monitor and analyse security incidents and breaches, and coordinate incident response activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into business processes and systems development life cycles.
  • Stay abreast of emerging threats and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders on information security and compliance matters.
  • Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership and the board of directors on the state of our information security program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in information security, with a focus on strategic planning and program management.
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Certifications in CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
  • Experience with security architecture, risk management, and threat analysis.
